ROEBKE'S RUN ARENAS

Eventing riders are always complimenting the well-manicured, stadium jumping arena designed for every level of competition. A well-coordinated staff keeps the riders competing at an uninterrupted flow.

Roebke's Run has multiple dressage rings, one of which is a grass ring. These are located in close proximity to the stables.

20 Camper Hook-up Sites

Twenty modern and well-labeled camper hook-up sites with water are conveniently located near the permanent stabling facility.

Main Arena Building

The clock tower stabling barn has 230 easily accessible 12'x12' stalls. A large paving stone wash bay for horses is close by.

The eventing office, sound room and restaurant are located at the stadium arena public viewing area. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served each day and the Saturday night meal is something riders and others rave about.

Decorative bridge connects Eventers to the stables, dressage rings, office, restaurant and stadium jumping arena.

A team of stadium judges and announcer work from a comfortable stand that offers an unencumbered view of the arena.

The Cross-Country Coordinator and Announcer have a great view of the cross-country course and starting gate.

Sound & Speaker System

A state-of-the-art speaker system and strategically located speaker towers keep riders and people viewing all of the areas up to date and informed on each days activity. Professional announcer, Steve Kath, has been a staple at all Roebke's Run shows.

Experienced cross-country starters and timers are located at the beginning and end of the cross-country course. Practice and warm-up jumps are also close by.

A friendly, experienced and helpful office staff is on hand to greet all incoming riders and ready to post Eventing results as they happen.

Wash Bay at Schweiss Stables

Riders appreciate the paving stone wash bays that avoid slipping during muddy conditions. A farrier is also at their disposal prior to, during and after competition.

Roebke's Run Stadium Jump course has decorative jumps, a large comfortable seating area next to the restaurant and additional bleachers to hold even the largest crowds. A jump warm-up area prior to competition is located next to where riders enter and exit.

One of the best parts of the day for stadium jump course competitors is the award ceremonies where they receive ribbons, cash and gifts for their accomplishments. Many of the top riders are interviewed and their stories placed on the Schweiss Stables website and appear in Eventing Nation.

Roebke's Run Cross Country courses provide three professionally designed water complexes.

Roebke's Run Horse Trial personnel and riders at all levels of competition always put on a great show and draw riders from throughout the U.S. and some abroad taking part on a well-groomed dynamic cross-country course, designed by Capt. Mark Phillips. Riders who return here year after year are always delighted with the changes and improvements to the challenging course - the best the Midwest has to offer. Riders also come to Roebke's Run to participate and hone their Eventing skills during professionally mentored clinics at various times during the year.
